Flowers have a calendar of their own. Bought when they're properly in season they have better colour, stronger stems and a longer vase life — and usually cost less than forcing something out of its natural window.
That's how Sarah buys. Rather than working from the same fixed list all year, she picks up whatever is looking best at market that week and builds the arrangements around it. It's why our seasonal designs change as the year turns, and why no two weeks look quite the same.
Spring brings the first proper lift — tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, ranunculus and blossom, bright and full of scent. Summer opens up the widest choice of the year, from peonies and sweet peas to roses, stocks and sunflowers in loose, relaxed hand-ties. Autumn turns deeper, with dahlias, chrysanthemums, berries and seed heads in rich rusts and plums. Winter is all structure and scent: amaryllis, anemones, eucalyptus and berried branches in classic reds and whites, or something quieter in silver, green and cream.
Alongside the everyday bouquets we make up special collections for the busier dates — Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter and Christmas among them. These do sell out, so it's worth ordering early where you can.
Every bouquet, basket and hatbox is hand-tied by Sarah here in Congleton and delivered across Congleton, Biddulph, Macclesfield, Sandbach, Alsager and the villages between. Order before 2pm and we can usually get it to you the same day.
